Superstars of Stand-up with headliner Sean Flannery
The Comedy Shrine brings you professional comedians every weekend. The Superstars of Stand-up show is approximately 90 minutes in length and is comprised of a host, a featured comic and a headliner.
This week's headliner is Sean Flannery.
Sean is one of Chicago's most critically acclaimed and popular comedians. His act has been described as "an inspired combination of standup and visual story stelling" (Chicago Tribune) and, in 2010, he was voted best comedian in the city by The Chicago Reader.

Flannery tells, loud, hilarious stories on stage, while projecting photos, videos and even some voicemails from the events. Last year he combined the stories about the last ten times he nearly killed himself (by accident) into a sold-out, critically-acclaimed one man show: "Never Been to Paris". This year he debuted a new show, The Blackout Diaries, where he tells drinking stories with friends, and the audience can then ask them any question they like. It has also sold out each performance and been a critic's pick in most major news papers
