Naperville Music's Rock School Performs

Naperville Music's Rock School will hold its spring concert on Sunday March 20th.

A total of 5 bands will be performing including 3 middle school aged bands, a high school aged band and an adult band. Not all the bands have names yet. One of the bands, “No Expectations” has been performing in Rock School for over a year. Another middle school band has chosen to perform exclusively songs made famous by Metal Bands.

The adult band consists of adult rockers and a twenty-something drummer. They have named themselves “Three Men and a Baby”.

Naperville Music on Ogden Avenue held their first rock school back in the 80's, and they have been teaching and coaching musicians since the 70's. In addition to being a full line musical instrument store, they also employ dozens of local professional musicians and educators who teach private and group lessons in addition to the Rock School program.

Rock School Band participants generally already have some basic skills on their instrument before they can be "in the band". Once a band is formed, the members can choose to stay together for additional sessions or change bands for new experiences.
