Naperville Last Fling-Sister Hazel

Sister Hazel, described as an alternative rock band, uses upbeat lyrics and highly melodic tunes to create their signature mix of Southern pop hooks and country rock harmonies.  The band’s instrumentation often features abrupt shifts among electric, acoustic and a cappella as heard in the smash single “All For You”.

The debut of “Release” in 2009 reached the band’s highest ever spot (#37) on the Billboard Album Charts, topping even their 1997 platinum disc “Somewhere More Familiar”.

The group’s 8th full-length collaboration, “Heartland Highway” (Oct. 2010) reflects a rootsy journey for both the band and the listeners. The album ebbs and flows between rockin’ tracks; “Great Escape” and “She’s Got A Hold On Me” and more poignant numbers “Far Away” and “Saddest Song” and can be best described as American road trip music.
