Meet & Greet: Games Workshop in Naperville has a New Manager

It’s time for a new age of war at the Naperville Games Workshop Hobby Center. Leading the front line is newly appointed manager, Bob Murphy, who will be sounding the battle horn for a “Meet n’ Greet” event January 14, 2012. Bob is looking to meet the community and share his love of the Games Workshop hobby and encourages attendees to submit their ideas for future events and activities to be run at the store. All are welcome to check out the new commander of the Naperville Hobby Center is located at 2863 W. 95th Street Suite 107, Naperville, IL, so rally your forces, and prepare for tabletop war! 

For those of you that may be unfamiliar to this unique hobby, Games Workshop is the largest and the most successful tabletop fantasy and futuristic battle-games company in the world. The hobby involves collecting, creating, painting and building toy soldiers or miniatures for tabletop chess-like games. The three main games includeWarhammer, Warhammer 40,000, and a tabletop battle-game based on New Line Cinema and director Peter Jackson's BAFTA and Academy award winning film trilogy, the Lord of the Rings

Bob Murphy is hosting the Meet n Greet event January 14th, 2012 from 12 o’clock in the afternoon to 8 o’clock in the evening. “Enjoy refreshments and tell me what you are working on, I can’t wait to hear about your hobby!” says Murphy. His vision for the hobby center is to provide an atmosphere for customers to learn and share techniques on building and painting their model miniatures. Bob embraces the community’s ideas for events and plans to use their feedback to become a better resource for local hobbyists.
