Lots of Events Offered in Downtown Naperville to Ring in New Year

  • Downtown Naperville – Shop, dine, dance, trolley and then ring in the New Year at the base of the Carillon at Rotary Hill. From 9 a.m.-noon, visit the DuPage Children's Museum for the Bubble Bash Blast Off; noon-5 p.m. shop, dine and enjoy face painters, jugglers, musicians, ice carvers and fortune tellers; 5-6 p.m. enjoy the Bell Parade from the covered bridge on Jackson Avenue to the Carillon; 5-7p.m. free hot chocolate from the Riverwalk Eatery and 95.9 the River; 6 p.m. a family friendly ringing in the New Year countdown at the Carillon (free bells will be given to the first 1,000 people); and midnight countdown at the Carillon with duets from 11:30 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. Also, the sled hill will be open all night.
