Benefit to Help Plainfield Resident and Family

A benefit for Plainfield resident Katie de La Van Conrad, who sustained a head injury Dec. 5, will be held at The Links at Carillon.

Conrad, a mother and the owner of the Southwest Edition of Coffee News, has been receiving medical treatment since her injury occurred.

The benefit will include a silicone inspiration wristband to show support to Conrad and her family; entertainment from the band Dough!; and a cash bar and hors d'oeuvres.

Raffle items, sports memorabilia, and electronics are being collected for a raffle and a silent auction. Those interested in dropping off items can bring them to First National Bank, 13600 S. Route 59, Plainfield.
