An Evening with Jazz Pianist Frank Caruso

Frank Caruso, pianist and North Central College jazz faculty member, will perform at NCC's Madden Theatre.

Caruso will be joined onstage by members of the NCC jazz faculty.

Caruso has played piano professionally since age 12; has studied at DePaul University and played with the U.S. Navy jazz band the Commodores; and was a featured performer at the White House birthday party for Duke Ellington.

Additionally, Caruso has appeared with musicians such as Luciano Pavarotti, Henry Mancini, Louis Bellson, Maynard Ferguson, the Count Basie Orchestra and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Caruso's most recent albums include Heart of the City and Songs from the Kingdom of Jazz. He has also co-written a jazz piano method book, Piano Improvisation--A Powerful Practical System.

Tickets will cost $15 for adults; $12 for students and senior citizens.
