Élan Dance Company Showcase

Join us for an afternoon of dance entertainment performed by the Park District's own Élan Dance Company. The performance, designed to delight all ages, features an eclectic collection of dances from classical ballet to jazz to modern dance. Tickets are $8 if purchased by March 21. Tickets are $10 if purchased after March 21 or at the door. Tickets may be purchased atwww.napervilleparks.org, Naperville Park District's Administration Building or at the door. Sorry, no refunds. This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.

Naperville Park District Camp Hip Hip Hooray It’s Spring Break
March 31-April 4, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Discover new friendships, enjoy arts and crafts, play lots of group games and participate in individual and team sports. Campers will attend two field trips to fun destinations plus enjoy a trip to the movie theatre. Participants will travel by school bus. Campers need to bring their lunch with a drink and two snacks each day except on Friday when a pizza and lemonade lunch will be provided. Early pickup is available at 3:00 p.m. If we do not have enough participants registered a week before the start date, the program will be canceled. Take a fun, interactive look at the world of video game design and development. Learn the basics of video game design and produce several different interactive video games to share with family and friends. Please bring a sack lunch and drink. Immerse yourself in the world of 2D and 3D game design. Experience a variety of hands-on experiences designing and building your very own games. Naperville Park District Eco-Explorers: Spring Break Camp
March 31-April 4, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (Ages 3-6); 1:00-4:00 p.m. (Ages 6-10)
Spend your spring break exploring the great outdoors. Each day will be an adventure. Little naturalists will go on hikes to observe the changes of spring. Campers also will create nature crafts throughout the week. Please bring a snack each day and be sure to dress for the weather! Naperville Park District Gym Tigers Camp: Spring Break
March 31-April 4, Monday-Friday, 9:15-10:30 a.m. or 10:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Learn and develop new gymnastics skills including vault, balance beam, floor exercise and bars. Enjoy a variety of games and meet new friends. All experience levels are welcome; campers will be grouped by skill level. Please bring water each day. Parents will be unable to view each class. In this fun-filled camp, young cooks learn to prepare ingredients and follow recipes. They’ll receive a cookbook with all the recipes at the end of camp. Due to the nature of these classes and the facility, the culinary program cannot accommodate dietary restrictions. Naperville Park District Rock Climbing: Spring Break Camps
March 31, April 1, April 2, April 3 and April 4, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Keep the kids busy during Spring Break by introducing them to the sport of rock climbing. During these fun camps, kids will get to climb 42-foot walls and learn knot tying, basic climbing techniques, belaying and rappelling. Participants also will try a new high-adventure initiative each day such as the Zip-Line, Firecracker Ladder and Trapeze Bar. Refund requests must bemade one week prior to the first class. Parents must sign an additional waiver at the first class. Please bring a sack lunch. Naperville Park District Spring Break Badminton Camp
March 31-April 4, Monday-Friday, 1:00-2:00 p.m.

This fun, instructional camp prepares players to succeed in badminton. Camp focus is on learning the fundamentals like grip, racket positioning, serving, body balance and first-step directional movements leading to games. All equipment is provided. Taught by Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. staff. Camp will be held at Brookdale School Gym, 1200 Redfield Road. The fee is $59(R)(SDR)/$89(N). Naperville Park District Spring Break Baseball Skills Camp
March 31-April 4, Monday-Friday, 9:00-10:00 a.m.

Get ready for the upcoming baseball season! Learn fundamental skills including batting, fielding, base running and throwing – skills that are sure to improve play on the field and in the batter’s box. Please bring a glove and wear tennis shoes; cleats are not allowed in the gym. Led by Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. staff. Camp will be held at Brookdale School Gym, 1200 Redfield Road. Naperville Park District Spring Break Basketball Basics Camp
March 31-April 3, Monday-Thursday, 9:00-10:00 a.m. (Ages 4-6) or 10:00-11:00 a.m. (Ages 7-12) 
Learn the basics of basketball with hands-on drills, demonstrations, scrimmages and contests. Camp, led by Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. staff, focuses on shooting, offensive and defensive skills. Quickness, body balance, first step directional movements, safety and sportsmanship will be emphasized. Camp will be held at Patterson School Gym, 3731 Lawrence Drive. The fee is $49(R)(SDR)/$74(N). Naperville Park District Spring Break Bowling Camp
March 31-April 3, Monday-Thursday, 1:00-4:00 p.m.
This instructional bowling camp challenges beginning to advanced bowlers. Experienced Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. coaches focus on teaching fundamentals and skills, bowling safety, techniques on throwing strikes/spares, bowling management, body balance, follow through, spin, ball placement, lane symbols, scoring, practice tips and sportsmanship. Fee includesshoe rental. Camp will be held at two locations: Brunswick Zone, 1515 Aurora Avenue, Naperville or Fox Bowl, 1101 Butterfield Road, Wheaton. Learn fundamentals, skills and cheerleading safety from experienced instructors from Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. Cheer techniques, body balance movements, timing, rhythm, pom pon bebop dance, jumps, stunts, cheers and sportsmanship are covered. Camp will be held at Patterson School Gym, 3731 Lawrence Drive. March 31-April 4, Monday-Friday, 12:00-1:00 p.m.
Kids will have a blast running, throwing, dodging and ducking their way to victory! Individual and team game versions will be introduced in a fast-paced, challenging environment. A championship match is held on the final day. The program uses soft, super-safe balls. Camp is conducted by Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. Learn the basics of Track & Field in this fun camp! Coaches from Kids First Sports Safety, Inc. teach starts, sprints, hurdles, running and throws in a safe and fundamental way. Learn body-balance techniques along with speed, quickness and agility drills. A wide variety of timed events will be introduced. Camp ends with a championship event on the final day. Naperville Park District Super Hero Master Engineering with LEGO®

LEGO® Super Heroes need your help to defeat the destructive forces of evil arch villains as they threaten LEGOpolis! Explore the tools and techniques of your favorite caped crusaders and learn what makes them not only Super Heroes, but super engineers. An engineering curriculum designed by Play-Well challenges heroes to design, build and save a city where ingenuity and imagination can solve any conflict. Participants will enjoy a fun-filled morning of arts and crafts, playing group games and Bingo. This is the perfect opportunity to come out and have some fun over the break from school. Naperville Park District Spring Break Fine Arts Camp
April 1-3, Tuesday-Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Each day fine art students will spend an hour in each: drawing, craft or painting and mosaic making. In drawing class, they will refine their fine motor and drawing skills. This camp also includes aspects of cartooning. In abstract painting, students will make a colorful memory that will be cherished forever. Students will be able to paint to their heart’s content using a medium-large canvas developing their work in three sittings. During the last portion of the camp day, students will work in the mosaic studio to create a functional piece of art such as a tray or mirror and learn the fundamentals of mosaic working! Naperville Park District Computer: Spring 3D Game Design
April 2 and 3, Wednesday and Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Take an interactive look at the world of 3D game design. Immerse yourself in a 3D world and design professional 3D games that look and feel just like the ones you play at home. RENT, Paramount Theatre, Aurora

RENT is the classic musical about love, friendship and community, and the seventh longest-running show in Broadway history. Over the course of its groundbreaking 12-year New York run, RENT transformed the definition of musical theater and changed Broadway forever. Set in NYC’s East Village, RENT is a modern take on the classic Puccini opera, La Bohème. It tells the unforgettable story of a group of young artists learning to survive, falling in love, finding their voices and living for today. Seats are on the main floor. Naperville Park District Men’s 12” and 16” Spring Tune-Up Softball Tourney

Sign up your team for our annual preseason softball tournaments, featuring both Men's 12” and 16” divisions. In partnership with the Illinois Softball Report and sponsored by Tommy Nevin’s Pub, the tournament will feature pool play on Saturday with all teams returning for a single-elimination round on Sunday. Chinatown Revealed, City Ventures – only 5 spots left!
Travel to the vibrant Chinatown neighborhood and explore one of Chicago’s favorite ethnic communities. Tour the Pui Tak Center on Wentworth, originally the On Leong Merchants Association Building. Visit the newly re-opened Chinese American Museum and explore their exhibits on Chinese immigration. While on Wentworth, admire the Chinatown Gate and visit the many shops, bakeries and local food markets.
