UPDATE: Power Outages Resolved

The power outage near Montgomery Road and Route 59 in Aurora has been resolved.

UPDATED 3:05 P.M.

Most of the power outages have been resolved. However, there still are 1,182 ComEd customers without power near Montgomery Road and Route 59. The estimated restoration time for this outage is 6 p.m.

Far east Aurora is being hit with scattered power outages, according to ComEd.

The largest outage appears to be south of E. New York Street, west of Commons Drive near N. Frontenac Road. That outage is impacting more than 1,000 ComEd customers.

Other outages are being reported near N. Commons Drive and McCoy Drive and south of E. New York Street, east of N. Commons Drive. Those outages are affecting 681 and 712 ComEd customers respectively.

An outage near Castle Rock Circle is affecting 1,182 customers and another on Montgomery Road is affecting 1,620 customers. Visit ComEd's outage map for more details.

Hey patch... Get a good map and read it !!!! Every bit of the areas you have listed are in the City of Aurora. Also, Comed does not service the City of Naperville.

Further, you should list warming centers in Aurora for these people. Aurora warm centers would be a lot closer for them.

Thanks Mr. Questioning. Route 59 and Montgomery Road is in Aurora and I should have been more specific. Most of the outages were on the far east side of Aurora bordering Naperville. I did include a photo of the outage area. I have corrected the post and apologize for not being more clear.
