The Atlantic: Naperville is Sweet on Halloween

In The Atlantic's Trick-or-Treater Index, Naperville comes in as one of the best places in the country to get candy on Halloween.

With all the family-friendly Halloween events around Naperville this weekend, parents and kids already knew Naperville was a great place to live for Halloween fun.

Now there is confirmation that trick-or-treating in is pretty sweet. The Atlantic has researched the top locations around the country for trick-or-treaters and in its “Trick-or-Treater Index” the Chicago-Naperville-Joliet area came in third-place behind the No. 1 area, Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk, Connecticut and No. 2 greater New York.

The report factored in the number of children of trick-or-treating age in a community, income, population density, walkability and creativity, according to the Atlantic.
