Super Bowl Crawl: Patch Picks

Where will you be watching the big game this weekend? We have the Patch Picks for the top five places for watching Super Bowl XLV.

The ultimate football event of the year takes place this weekend. This year, the Super Bowl is a slightly painful experience for the Bears fans among us. Will you be on Pittsburgh’s side, or are you supporting Green Bay?

Whatever your thoughts, it is still one of the biggest sports events of the year. So, where will you watch the game? Here are our top 5 choices in Naperville for your Super Bowl Crawl.

One of the big draws at the saloon is the 50 TVs where you won't miss a minute of the game. For the Super Bowl, BlackFinn will be hosting a party. Along with its Bloody Marys and game-day menu, the bar will be featuring $4 Jameson, Absolut and Absolut Peppar, $3 Miller Lite Drafts, $5 pitchers and $10 Coors and Miller Buckets. The bar also will be raffling off an authentic AFC/NFC quarterback jersey.


Finding a seat on game day at the Lantern can be difficult. So, be prepared. But, who doesn’t like to be enjoying the game with a keyed-up crowd? For the Super Bowl there will be a complimentary buffet, free raffles, prizes and giveaways. The bar will also have $3 Miller Lite 16 oz. aluminum bottles.

At CrossTown, you want to reserve your seat for the big game now. The bar will offer endless wings on Sunday. And, these wings are winners; the bar is known for its “world famous wings.” The bar also advertises that on Sundays it offers a full rack of ribs for $8.95. And a buy-one-get-one deal on pizza. Drink specials on Sundays include $4 Bloody Marys and mimosas, and $2 domestic draft beers.

For Super Bowl XLV, the Total Sports will be offering cheap wings at 50 cents a pop. Also, on the menu are $5 half-pound burgers. And, if you are thirsty the bar will have $3 draft beers and other drink specials. The bar also will be giving away team jerseys, along with other prizes.

Limestone Brewing Co.

At Limestone Brewing, there will be an appetizer buffet offered two hours before game time. The micro-brewery will be offering drink specials and the buffet will include wings, bottle caps, quesadillas, sliders, and more. Also, there will be a $5 happy hour appetizer menu during the game. Those menu items include: bruschetta, bottle caps, wings, hummus, nachos, and cheese quesadillas. And, the bar will have almost too many drink specials to mention. These specials will include $3 14 oz. Electric Park Gold drafts and $3.50 14 oz. "In Stone" drafts; $13 buckets of Bud, Coors, and Miller beers; $20 buckets of Amstel Light, Heineken, Corona, and Corona Light; $5 Absolut Bloody Marys; and $5 Jameson shots and cocktails.
