STYX to Perform at 2013 Ribfest
Chicago's very own classic rock band comes to Naperville Ribfest this summer.
The news is out, STYX is coming to Ribfest this summer.
The Exchange Club of Naperville and the 2013 Ribfest Committee announced that the classic rock band will be the opening act for the 2013 Ribfest on July 3 in Knoch Park.

The 26th annual Ribfest runs from July 3 through 7 and will have plenty of family activities, live music and, of course, rib vendors from across the country. All proceeds from Ribfest go to support the elimination of Child Abuse and Domestic Violence, according to the Exchange Club of Naperville.

Marty Walker, Ribfest 2013 chair stated “We are very excited about having STYX return to the Ribfest stage," said Ribfest 2013 chair Marty Walker in a release. "This iconic band will bring patrons of all ages to enjoy our event. It is a great way to kick off the weekend.”
The band STYX consists of Tommy Shaw, James “JY” Young, Lawrence Gowan, Todd Sucherman and Ricky Phillips, along with the occasional surprise appearance by original bassist Chuck Panozzo.
Tickets will go on sale in the spring on www.ribfest.net, which is currently under construction.
