Anthony Larcher-Gore was surprised with a warm welcome Saturday at his family's Naperville home.

On Saturday, USMC Cpl. Anthony Larcher-Gore was surprised at his family home when he came outside to the sound of police vehicles with sirens blaring, motorcycles with engines revving and cars with horns honking. Neighbors and onlookers came to join in on the suprise welcome home, organized by Operation Welcome You Home and supported by the Illinois chapter of the Warriors' Watch Riders.

According to an Operation Welcome You Home release, Larcher-Gore joined the Marines in 2007, served a tour in the Middle East and has received several awards including a NAM, where his actions saved the lives of fellow Marines. He plans on pursuing his degree in music and music management and is looking at several Illinois Universities for his studies.
