Naperville Trail Reopens Ahead of Schedule

A section of the West Branch Regional Trail in Naperville has reopened following maintenance work.

A section of the West Branch Regional Trail between Ogden and Jefferson avenues in Naperville has been reopened following maintenance work by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County.

The maintenance work began July 22 and was completed by in-house crews from the Forest Preserve District. The trail reopened several days ahead of schedule.

This section of the West Branch Regional Trail was established through a cooperative effort between the Forest Preserve District, the Park District and the City of Naperville to create a walkway through Naperville along the West Branch of the DuPage River. The three agencies worked together to acquire land, construct new trails and maintain existing trails within forest preserves, parks and residential areas.
