Naperville Park District to Host Playground Opening
Park district inviting the community to celebrate opening of new playground at Ashwood Park.
The Naperville Park District is inviting the community to celebrate the opening of a new playground at Ashwood Park.
Neighbors are invited to bring their families and friends to participate in a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony, enjoy refreshments and giveaways, and check out the new play equipment and landscaping.
The event will take place at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25 at Ashwood Park, located at 4603 Chinaberry Lane in southwest Naperville. In the event of inclement weather, the playground celebration will be rescheduled for Wednesday, June 26 at 5 p.m. Residents can check the weather cancellations tab for the latest updates at www.napervilleparks.org.

Design of the new playground was based on input from neighbors and includes state-of-the-art play equipment, accessible to children of all abilities.
