Naperville Among Top Illinois Towns for Job Seekers

Naperville and Plainfield are considered great areas for job seekers, according to NerdWallet.

Naperville is the eighth best municipality in Illinois for people looking for work, according to data collected from the Nerd Wallet website examining factors which make a place’s residents more likely to land job.

Nerd Wallet has collected data about Illinois communities to determine if they are growing, residents' salaries and the local employment rate, to gauge which towns were most suitable for job seekers.

According to the site, Naperville has seen population growth of 1.2 percent from 2009 to 2011 as well as a high median household income—$105,585—among the communities surveyed.

Nearby Plainfield was listed as number 2 on the site's list and Wilmette topped the list at number 1.
