Lysacek Makes Brief Local Appearance

Olympic skating gold medalist visits Rocket Ice Arena Monday for interview with NBC.

Olympic figure skating champion and Napervillian Evan Lysacek made a brief local appearance Monday afternoon at Rocket Ice Arena in Bolingbrook, where he conducted an interview for NBC set to air this weekend and took a few minutes for a photo opportunity.

The hectic schedule is part of Lysacek's daily routine while he tours with Smucker's Stars On Ice, which stops in Chicago at the Allstate Arena on March 12.

Lysacek's brief stop home is a busy one. Following his appearance at Rocket, Lysacek was off to Chicago for a live news interview Monday evening. He was to host an event at the John Hancock Observatory Tuesday afternoon.
