Loaves & Fishes is moving to a shift model that better accommodates the numbers of clients and volunteers on site. The combination of a new tenant in the building immediately west, plus the sheer volume of clients and volunteers present during each shopping session necessitated the change, according to Loaves & Fishes.
“Our neighbor has generously allowed us to use many of that property’s parking spaces while he has been waiting for a new tenant,” said Jane Macdonald, Loaves & Fishes Community Pantry senior program director in a release. “Now we will welcome that business by being a good neighbor.”
The new schedule will be as follows:
- Tuesday 9 – 11 a.m. and 1 – 3 p.m.
- Wednesday 9 – 11 a.m. and 1 – 3 p.m.
- Thursday 9 – 11 a.m. and 1 – 3 p.m. and 5 – 7 p.m.
- Saturday 8 a.m. – 11: 30 a.m.
Client parking will open 30 minutes before pickup. A new parking map has been shared with clients and volunteers and is available on the Loaves & Fishes website.
Loaves & Fishes is located at 1871 High Grove Ln., Naperville.
