Little Friends' Jack Ryan Announces Retirement

Jack Ryan has been with Little Friends since 1973 helping to nurture the nonprofit's growth.

Submitted by Little Friends

It is with mixed emotions that Little Friends announces news that Jack Ryan, Chief Executive Officer, will be retiring on June 30, 2012. While we are happy for Jack as he enters this new phase of life, we will certainly miss his experience and guidance in the pursuit of our mission.

Jack has been with Little Friends since 1973 and has nurtured its growth from a small school and vocational program to the multifaceted agency it is today. From that modest beginning, Little Friends has grown to include eleven programs serving 800 children and adults with autism and other disabilities. Jack leaves Little Friends fiscally sound, highly regarded by both professionals and families, and with a reputation for quality and innovation.

Thankfully our long range planning has enabled us to build on Jack's legacy without interruption. The Little Friends Board of Directors is proud to announce that Kristi Landorf will assume the position of President/CEO on July 1, 2012.

Kristi joined in 2004 when she became our Vice President of Human Resources. Her prior experience included not only human resources responsibilities, but also experience in providing direct services to both children and adults. In 2006, Kristi was named to the position of Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the day-to-day operations of all of our programs.
