Kevin Sings the News: 'Slow News Week'
Patch's troubadour sings the blues this week about a lot of nothing much.

Patch troubadour Kevin Trudo took a look at Patch headlines over the past seven days and came to one inevitable conclusion: not a lot happened last week. But that’s OK, because he came up with this witty, bluesy number celebrating the journalistic dry spell.
The song references stories about downtown businesses in Plainfield petitioning to ; an alleged at a gas station in Woodridge; Montgomery cops catching a guy who ; the muddy in Channahon; and a strange tale of in Naperville.

It's a slow news week
The same old crimes and maybe a human interest piece

Except for , that got a little scary
Still it's a slow news week
The same old crimes and maybe a human interest piece
