Over the next couple of days, Naperville weather looks like a classic good news/bad news situation.

Good news: The National Weather Service is predicting temperatures to climb a bit.

Bad news: A winter weather advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. Friday until noon Saturday. Snow is expected to arrive on Friday night and could continue into Saturday. And that’s sure to present holiday shoppers with another hurdle, no? Who needs slippery roads when you’re focused on winning the race for bargains?

Friday’s high is expected to reach 29. Then, on Friday night, the NWS said snow is likely, with accumulations of 3-6 inches possible before it ends on Saturday. The high Saturday will be 30.
