Naperville Area Humane Society's Annual Adopt-A-Thon

Please join Naperville Area Humane Society as it hosts its annual adopt-a-thon. The event will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 22 and 23, at the Naperville Area Humane Society, located at 160 W. Diehl Road in Naperville. The Humane Society will have extended adoption hours each day, with Saturday hours from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday hours from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

“We began our adopt-a-thon as a way to bring awareness to the wonderful animals waiting at NAHS for their new forever homes. We want everyone to make adoption the first choice when adding a pet to the family. Staff is working hard to have over 18 dogs/puppies and 30-40 cats/kittens ready to go to good homes,” noted Angie Wood, executive director of the Naperville Area Humane Society.

All animals are up to date on core vaccinations, spayed or neutered and microchipped. Cats are FeLV negative, and dogs are tested for heartworm disease. Plus, NAHS has an inventory of everyday supplies, such as bowls, leashes, and toys available for purchase.  For more information on the Adopt-a-thon, please call (630) 420-8989.
