'Marriage Course' series, by creators of ALPHA, set to begin Sept. 14 at St. Thomas the Apostle

Married couples – even those in strong, loving and lifelong relationships – can learn how to make even the happiest marriage better by making a date to attend “The Marriage Course,” a monthly series beginning Friday, Sept. 14, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Road, Naperville. Sessions will be held from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. in the cozy Lighthouse room of the church and will include dinner, a video and private couple conversation.

Tables for two, candlelight and a relaxed atmosphere await couples who will be able to discuss topics vital to everyday concerns such as the art of communication, resolving conflict, the impact of family, and love in action. To preserve the privacy of conversation, “The Marriage Course” does not include group sharing and participation is limited to the first 12 couples who make reservations.

The entire program of eight “dates” costs $70 a couple to cover the cost of meals and materials, and will be hosted by St. Thomas parishioners Rose and Steven Grumbine. “The Marriage Course” was produced by the creators of the famous ALPHA series.
