Lenten Service at NCC Open to Public

A Lentin worship service will be held at North Central College's Wentz Concert Hall as part of the college's Sesquicentennial Celebration.

Members of four Naperville United Methodist congregations will take part in the service including vocal and bell choirs. The churches include: Community United Methodist Church, 20 N. Center St.; Grace United Methodist Church, 300 E. Gartner Road; Wesley United Methodist Church, 21 E. Franklin Ave.; and Wheatland Salem Church, 1852 W. 95th St.
 
Admission is free, but tickets will be required for the event. To reserve seats, call the North Central College Box Office at 630-637-SHOW (7469).
 
Bishop Sharon Zimmerman Rader, a North Central alumna and former bishop for the state of Wisconsin, will share the message at the service. Rader is the current Ecumenical Officer for the Council of Bishops.
