Dog Day Afternoon at Greene Valley Forest Preserve

Sunday was a ruff morning at Greene Valley Forest Preserve when everything went to the dogs and butt sniffing was one of the main events.

Pooches and their people converged on the forest preserve Sunday as the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County hosted Ruff'N It. The event included demonstrations and exhibitors offering pet-related goods and services. Rescue organizations were on hand as well as volunteers from Edward Hospital's Animal Assisted Therapy program.
