Adopt Me! Pierce, Maddie, Snowball, Jimbo and Jumbo

These are just a few of the dogs and cats waiting for homes at area shelters.

Pierce is a 12-year-old male Persian. He’s declawed on all four paws.  Pierce was surrendered because he doesn’t enjoy living with small kids, so he would prefer a quieter home without small children. He gets along with most other cats, but sometimes enjoys his own space.  He will need daily brushing and occasional grooming due to his handsome locks and fancy fur. He’s looking forward to being a couch potato in his new home, so if you need somebody to watch TV with come meet Pierce soon!

Maddie is a 6-year-old female shih tzu and poodle mix. She is a sweet little girl who loves to snuggle, play with toys and dance! She’s great with other dogs and doesn’t mind cats either. She would prefer a home with no little kids (preschoolers) because they make her nervous. If you’re looking for somebody to brighten your day, stop by and meet Maddie soon!

More dogs and cats are available at the . All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped. They are spayed or neutered at adoption. Snowball was surrendered to by his owner due to financial reasons.  Snowball is a 5-year-old westie/pomeranian mix. He is a tiny guy with a wonderful temperament. He is an active boy who likes to play ball, go on walks and hang out with other dogs. Snowball is good with children too.

Jimbo and Jumbo are brothers and were given up to the shelter when their family lost their home. They are not just siblings; they are best friends and partners for life. Jumbo is the mellow laid back one of this partnership. He has a heart problem so getting too excited wouldn't be good for him. All he needs is someone who is looking for quiet time and togetherness. If you also like petting, purrs, and paws kneading your lap Jumbo would be a perfect match. Jimbo is an active boy who loves to play, though loves cuddle times too. These two are very much bonded and are hoping for a second chance at happiness in a home together.
