Adopt Me! Cleopatra, Bailey, Topaz and Boots

These are just a few of the adoptable pets available at area shelters.

Cleopatra is a 4-year-old domestic shorthair brown tabby.  She was transferred from Chicago Animal Control with her three babies who were less than a week old. Despite heroic efforts from her foster family, all off her kittens passed away. Cleopatra had a rough labor and as a result, suffered nerve damage that causes her to drag one of her back legs. Despite her rough start, Cleopatra is very sweet and loves attention from people. Can you be the family that gives her the home she so deserves?

Bailey is a 1 ½-year-old Rhodesian ridgeback mix. She loves meeting new people, going on long walks and playing with toys. Believe it or not, she also loves getting her teeth brushed. Bailey is very active so she needs a home with older kids. She would be great as a walking or jogging budy. She likes most other dogs, but would do best in a home with no cats. If you’re looking for an athletic, outgoing dog, please come and meet Bailey soon!

More dogs and cats are available at the . All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped. They are spayed or neutered at adoption. Topaz was a stray that was never claimed. He is a beautiful 3-year-old Weimaraner mix.  Topaz is an amazing dog that knows his basic commands. He has a great temperament with people, children and other dogs. He’s gentle on walks and is content to play ball with a Chuck IT toy for hours on end.  He’d be a great dog for an active household.

Boots loves to be petted and to have her belly rubbed. She is a friendly and affectionate girl who loves to play with balls and feather toys. She would really like to have her own home where she can be a devoted companion.
