Adopt Me! Cleo, Kensi, Rainbow Brite and Blair

These are a few of the adoptable pets at local animal shelters.

Cleo is a 1-year-old Shepherd mix transferred to from another shelter. Upon her second day at A.D.O.P.T. Cleo went into labor and had five precious puppies.  She is a young mom who took care of her puppies extremely well and is now looking for her forever home where she can now be loved.  Cleo is very playful, but also very gentle.  She’ll somehow worm her way into your lap.  Cleo is housetrained and will yip by the door when she needs to go outside.

Kensi is a feline who boasts more than just a pretty face and a pleasant demeanor. She is a very sweet girl who just loves attention and would be content to just sit by her favorite person's side. She’d make a top-notch companion and would be a perfect fit for a loving home.

For more information about any of the animals we have available for adoption please contact A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter at 630-355-2299.  The shelter is a no-kill, nonprofit, animal shelter at 420 Industrial Drive, Naperville.  Visit us at www.adoptpetshelter.org

Rainbow Brite came to the shelter as a stray with eight day-old kittens.  Luckily, they’ve all been adopted so she can finally relax!  She’s a very sweet cat who loves attention and playing.  She’s been through a lot and has become weary of other animals so she would do best as an only pet.  Rainbow Brite is a 1 1/2 years old.

At first glance, you’d never know Blair, an American Pit Bull Terrier Mix is 9 years old.  She’s got lots of energy and loves toys!  She was returned to the shelter after 9 years because her previous owners went through a divorce.  Now she’s looking for a caring forever home who will spoil her with lots of love and affection.  Blair recently had surgery to remove a tumor from her leg, but the doctor said her prognosis is good and she’s back to her old self already.  She can’t live with cats but is okay with most dogs and kids who are at least five years old.  Stop by soon and she how sweet she is!
