A Presidential Honor: Whiz Kid

○       Whiz Kid's Name: Michael Christopher

○      Whiz Kid's School:

○      Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Young Michael received the President’s Volunteer Service Award from the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program on behalf of Barack Obama.

○      Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness (what made him/her successful?): The award recognizes Americans of all ages who have volunteered significant amounts of their time to serve their communities and their country. Michael participated in the Spirit of Community program this year as a representative of the United States Air Force Auxiliary, of which he is a member. Michael is a Civil Air Patrol Cadet who has volunteered more than 75 hours of community service through many various activities. He has also been trained as a member of the Air Force Ground Search and Rescue team. Michael definitely seems wise beyond his years! Keep up the good work!
