Snuggle Buddy Looking for a Home

Murphy is about 4 years old and weighs 23 pounds. He is a super sweet, shy boy who is gentle and very quiet in the home. He gets along ok with some low energy dogs, but would probably prefer to be an only dog. He would love to find a family who will work with him on building his confidence and he is really scared in new situations. He loves to sit on your lap, snuggle, receive pets and give little kisses. He would make a great companion for an all adult household or a home with older children. We would love to see him in a home with a fenced in yard. Little Murphy does have a heart murmur, but that doesn't affect him at all. At the current time the vets say he does not need any treatment, but might need medication in the future. Please don't let that deter you from giving this guy a chance. He is a little love bug and will make an amazing family member. Murphy's adoption fee of $225 goes towards covering his vetting, which includes his neuter, microchip, heartworm and fecal test, rabies and distemper shots, bloodwork, xrays and echocardiogram.
