Rover Rescue Dog of the Week

Hi.  I’m Pinky.   I am called Pinky because of the adorable pink spot at the end of my nose.  It almost looks like I rubbed the black right off!   I am a 1 year old Catahoula/Border Collie mix weighing 50 lbs.  I am a very energetic girl that just wants to have fun!  I am going to need a fenced yard so I can run and play, patrol my territory for any pesky varmint such as squirrels, and to keep me safe.  I will dart out of an open door and be gone, but I can’t help myself.  There is just so much of the outdoor world to explore!  My favorite toy is a laser pointer.  I will run around for hours chasing the little red “bug”.  My foster family thinks this is an awesome way to get me some exercise without having to exert any energy of their own.  I love other dogs, but hopefully they like to romp and play.  I also like children, but I would probably do best with kids 8 years old and up.  I would hate to knock down a younger child while I was running around having a good time!  I am a really good girl.  I know not to go potty in the house and will sit and stare at the door when I need to go out.  I am crate trained, but I don’t love it.  I may complain for a few minutes before I calm down.  If I sound like just the dog you have been waiting for, please call Teri at 630-897-7454 and let the fun begin…
