Psychiatrist M. Shafi Siddiqui, MD joins Linden Oaks Medical Group

M. Shafi Siddiqui, MD, who is board certified in adult psychiatry and board eligible in geriatric psychiatry, has joined Linden Oaks Medical Group’s behavioral health team.

Dr. Siddiqui is accepting patients at his office located in the Linden Oaks Outpatient Center, 1335 N. Mill St. in Naperville.  To schedule an appointment, call (630) 646-8000.

Dr. Siddiqui earned his medical degree from the Deccan College of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad, India.  He completed his residency in adult psychiatry at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.  Dr. Siddiqui also completed fellowships in geriatric psychiatry at Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s McGaw Medical Center in Chicago and psychoanalysis at the Institute of Psychoanalytic Education Psychoanalysis in New York.

Dr. Siddiqui’s areas of interest in geriatric psychiatry include Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, behavioral disturbances, psychopharmacology, grieving and bereavement, depression and anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders and electroconvulsive therapy.  His areas of interest in general adult psychiatry include schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD and obsessive compulsive disorders.
