Pay Attention Lecture Series

You can learn more about ADHD by attending guest speaker night at the Adult ADHD Support Group. The first Tuesday of each month features an open meeting for people with or without ADHD to learn more about a related issue. On Tuesday, May 6, 2014 our guest speaker in our Pay Attention Lecture Series will be Tom Kens.

Staying Positive in a Negative World

Science tells us the average person thinks 60,000 thoughts per day with over 45,000 of those thoughts being negative. Why? CNN (Constantly Negative News) bombards us all day, everyday. In this one of a kind class, learn the 10 fundamental tips to help you maintain a positive attitude despite the odds.

Tom Kens, is a proud veteran of the armed forces, healthy living teacher at Moraine Valley Community College, & life long resident of Tinley Park.

Serving in the United States Navy, Tom fought to promote freedom & democracy worldwide. Stateside, Tom continues to fight for freedom as he helps Americans battle the stress & fatigue that leads to mediocrity in life.

Through his "Small Steps to a Healthier You" series of talks, Tom has helped thousands of people throughout the country, live healthier happier lives.

With the popularity of the talks growing, he has taken the series to libraries, colleges, prisons, and churches.
