Naperville Public Library to offer "Which Tablet is for You?" in Partnership with Verizon Wireless Naperville

Naperville Public Library will offer “Which Tablet is for You?” from 6:30–8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Verizon Wireless Naperville, 111 E. Ogden Ave., Suite 105. This program is a part of the Library’s community-wide initiative Healthy, Wealthy and Wise.

 

This program requires registration. To register, email your name, phone number and email address to marketingintern@naperville-lib.org. The Library will email you back with a registration confirmation number.

The program will provide information for those in the market for a new tablet who want to make an informed decision before buying. Topics include the difference between an iPad and an Android, the capabilities of tablets for home and office use and other helpful information about the many uses of tablets. Details about how to download library e-books and access Library resources on tablets and smartphones will also be shared.

Library patrons who want to further test devices can also check out e-readers for free with a Naperville Public Library card for three weeks at any of the three Library locations. These devices, which include Nook Simple Touch, Nook Tablet, Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Fire, are pre-loaded with popular titles for adults, teens and children.
