Naperville Public Library offers Fun with Fall Writing Programs

Naperville Public Library encourages writing this fall with several writing-focused programs offered at its various locations.

Teens in grades sixth through 12th can also participate in the “Frightful Nights Writing Contest” by completing the sentence “It was a dark and stormy night…” in less than 50 words. Teens can send their entries to teenspacenpl@gmail.com between Oct.1–25 for a chance to win a prize.

Also offered for teens in grades sixth through 12th is “Fan Fiction Slam: All of the Feels!” from 4:30–5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at Naper Blvd. Library, 2035 S. Naper Blvd.  Teens who write fan fiction or just enjoy reading it are invited to attend this program to discuss this user-generated form of writing. For more information, contact Yan Xu at 630-961-4100, ext. 2232 or email yxu@naperville-lib.org.
