Drs. Dara Pumphrey-Ruiz, Erika Shavers join Linden Oaks Medical Group

Dara Pumphrey-Ruiz, MD and Erika M. Shavers, MD have joined Linden Oaks Medical Group’s behavioral health team.

Dr. Pumphrey-Ruiz earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College.  She completed her residency training at Northwestern University.  She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Illinois Psychiatric Society.  Dr. Pumphrey-Ruiz’s areas of interest include mood disorders, addictions and psychotic disorders.

Dr. Shavers earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.  She completed her psychiatry residency as well as a fellowship in addiction psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago.  She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry and the Illinois Psychiatric Association.  Dr. Shavers’ areas of interest are substance use disorder, anxiety and depression.
