Dr. Mohammad Khan, pain specialist, joins Edward Neurosciences Institute

Pain specialist Mohammad Khan, MD has joined the Edward Neurosciences Institute.  Dr. Khan is board certified in anesthesiology, pain medicine and interventional pain.  He was previously the Attending Anesthesiologist and Director of the Pain Clinic at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora.

Utilizing proven minimally invasive physical and psychological methods to reduce pain and increase mobility and functioning, Dr. Khan treats patients who suffer from chronic pain conditions, including neck and low back pain, headaches, fibromyalgia, disorders of the nervous system, neuropathic pain, vertebral body compression fracture, and herniated and degenerative disc diseases of the spine.  Dr. Khan is one of the few physicians in the country who perform minimally invasive lumbar decompression (MILD) for spinal stenosis and radiofrequency ablation of the sacroiliac joint.

Dr. Khan earned his medical degree from Dhaka Medical College in Dhaka, Bangladesh.  He completed his residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.  Dr. Khan is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
