Dr. Li Zhang, neurologist, joins Edward Neurosciences Institute

The Edward Neurosciences Institute in affiliation with Northwestern Medicine has announced Li Zhang, MD, neurologist, is joining its team.  Dr. Zhang is seeing patients in the Edward Neurosciences Institute office at 120 Spalding Drive on the campus of Edward Hospital, 801 S. Dr. Zhang is board certified in psychiatry and neurology.  She received her medical degree from China Medical School in Shenyang, China and completed her neurology residency, followed by an electrophysiology and neuromuscular fellowship, at the University of Chicago.

She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine.

Dr. Zhang’s areas of interest include neuromuscular conditions (including neuropathy, myopathy, motor neuron disease and myasthenia gravis), epilepsy, migraines, dementia, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, neck and back pain, and other rare neurodegenerative disorders.

Before joining Edward, Dr. Zhang maintained a private neurology practice in the region for the last 15 years.
