ArranmoreArts Keeps the Party Going with Boogie Wonderland

If you missed the first concert in ArranmoreArts’ third annual Cabernet Cabaret Concert Series, get out your calendar. The next concert in the series, aptly named Boogie Wonderland, is scheduled for Saturday, August 3. Gates open at 6:30PM with the show starting at 8:00PM. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at www.arranmorearts.org or at ticket locations listed on the site. Children under 13 are admitted free.

Featuring the return of popular Cabernet Cabaret artists to perform dance music that defined the eras they came from, Boogie Wonderland will prove to be one big dance party on the lawn. All Cabernet Cabaret concerts are performed on the expansive lawn of Arranmore Farm & Polo Club (34 Rance Road) in Oswego.

“Its hard to believe we are already in our third season of CabCab. The most rewarding piece for me is watching this become a summer tradition time after time.”  said founder and president, Shannon Greene Robb.

Lara Filip, Artistic Director, said "This has been one of the most challenging CabCabs to put together because there are so many great dance tunes in so many genres, and because of the range of this group of performers. They can literally do anything. But now that we're getting close and the set list is finally whittled down, I think it may be one of the best shows we've ever done."

Attendees are encouraged to B.Y.O.P. (Bring Your Own Party) including a full spread of food, drink, blankets, chairs and small tables to enhance the experience in the outdoor setting.  Coopers Hawk Wine and Three Angels Brewing craft beer is also available for purchase at all Cabernet Cabaret concerts.

Whole Foods in Naperville is offering “Café Cabaret”, gourmet packaged meals for four that can be ordered ahead of time and picked up before each concert at Whole Foods. Picnic’s can be viewed at arranmorearts.org/event/cabernet-cabaret/

ArranmoreArts is dedicated to bringing innovative and memorable art experiences to Chicago’s western suburbs. For more information visit www.arranmorearts.org.
