Opal Enterprises Shows Its Community Spirit During Marathon Season

Marathon season arrived and passed with good feelings had by all! The 36th annual Chicago Marathon was once again a huge success and then runners geared up for the inaugural Naperville Marathon that was held on November 10th. Local exterior renovation experts Opal Enterprises, was a top level sponsor of the Naperville Marathon, and was eager to cheer on the runners as they tackled the 26.2 mile course that weaved its way through the city.

“This time of year is always exciting for runners thanks to the Chicago Marathon, but we couldn’t be more proud to have had the opportunity to support this brand new event right here in Naperville,” says Tara Dawn, Marketing Manager at Opal Enterprises, Inc. “When we found out that Naperville would be hosting its own marathon this year we were eager to lend a hand. As proponents of hard work in everything we do, we have so much respect for the runners who train their bodies to be able to compete in these amazing races.”

For more than 10 years, Opal Enterprises has been assisting local homeowners with exterior renovation projects including window and door replacement, roofing replacement, siding installation and a host of other exterior home contracting services. As a trusted member of the community, Opal Enterprises prides themselves on 100% customer satisfaction and exemplary service.

In addition to their financial support of the Naperville Marathon, Opal Enterprises also presented each and every participant with a gift bag.

“We know how much work runners put into these events, and we wanted them to know that we’re behind them,” Dawn says. “Nearly 75% of the athletes competing in this year’s marathon were from Naperville and other nearby DuPage cities and towns, so it’s important for them to know they have our support. We’ve tried to come up with as many ways as possible to get involved in this wonderful event. In addition to the gift bags we put up humorous signs along the route to encourage the runners.”

Over the years, Opal Enterprises have demonstrated their continued support for community affairs. As a member of the Naperville Chamber of Commerce, they understand the importance of working together with their neighbors to support one another and grow together as a community.

“The continued support of this community has allowed us to expand our businesses and offer even more products and services to our clients,” Dawn says. “We want to take the opportunity to thank the people of the greater Chicago area for supporting us for the last decade. Like the runners who competed, we share the belief that the harder you work the better results you will achieve.”
