More About Naperville Central High School
Students at Naperville Central received several academic and athletic honors in 2010. The Central Times student newspaper was the recipient of a Silver Crown Award, which is given to roughly 25 student papers across the country. The paper also earned the highest distinction at the IHSA State Championship in Journalism. Students in the Business Professionals of America competed at the regional BPA competition and received 19 awards, including one first-place team award and seven first-place individual awards. The boys swimming and diving team earned first place from the IHSA. Statewide, boys water polo took second place and girls took third.
