Prostitution Sting Nets Naperville Man: Police

Aurora police arrested 10 last week after setting up dates on the internet.

A two-day prostitution sting staged last week by Aurora Police Special Operations investigators resulted in charges being filed against four men and six women.

The operation, which was staged May 8 and 9 at an undisclosed private residence in Aurora, targeted several different internet sites known for advertising sexual services.

Three of the men were arrested and charged with solicitation of a sexual act on May 8 after they responded to the residence in reference to an ad placed by Aurora police on one of the internet sites, police said. They allegedly offered an undercover female officer money in exchange for sex. They include:

Edward W. Przybycien, 30, of the 800 block of Quin Court, Naperville; Thaddeus Chase, 45, of the 200 block of Loradale Drive, Oswego; and Anthony Chirico, 42, of the first block of Windham Drive, Montgomery.

The arrests of the women and one of the men on May 9 resulted from an undercover officer responding to advertisements on the targeted websites and setting up meetings with the suspects, police said. The suspects were arrested after they allegedly offered the male undercover officer sexual acts in exchange for money.

Charged with prostitution were:

Kandace L. Morales, 25, of the 400 block of Harwood Avenue; and Samantha R. Lang, 26, of the 3200 block of Pandora Avenue, both in Joliet; Jessica L. Morris, 19, of the 1800 block of E. Main Street, Urbana; and Rafael Medrano, 37, of the 1100 block of Lebanon Street, Aurora.

Another Aurora resident, Crystal L. Turner, 26, of the 400 block of Park Ridge Lane, was charged with prostitution and unlawful possession of a controlled substance after heroin was allegedly found in her vehicle, police said.

Two other women, Lashonda R. McClinton, 20, of the 2900 block of W. 25th Place, Chicago; and Chunxia Lui, 42, of the 5500 block of S. Madison Street, Hinsdale, were both charged with felony prostitution based on their past criminal histories, police said.

Aurora Police seized six vehicles during the operation. To retrieve them, the arrestees had to pay $500 plus towing and storage. They also seized $943 in cash.  Police are not disclosing the location used in the sting to protect the integrity of future operations.
