Police Blotter: Busted Texting; Burglar Makes Off with iPod, Cash and Vanilla Coke

Possession

Bradley Michael Ennesser, 33, of the 1700 block of Villanova Drive, was arrested at 1:49 a.m. in the 1600 block of Signal Drive, Naperville police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Texting while driving

Ashley Lynn Charnota, 22, of the first block of Canterbury Trail in Romeoville, was arrested at 7:14 p.m. at 104th Street and Plainfield-Naperville Road, police said. She was charged with driving while texting, and on a DuPage County warrant related to possession of fewer than 30 grams of cannabis. Police said they stopped her in connection with texting when they saw she had a warrant. Her bond was $120.

Suspended license

Eder Damian, 21, of the 2000 block of Lilac Lane in Aurora, was arrested at 8:27 p.m. at the intersection of Aurora Avenue and South Route 59, police said. He was charged with driving without insurance and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $2,000.

Vehicle burglarized

A 48-year-old man in the 1500 block of Bradley Court reported that his unlocked car was burglarized sometime overnight, police said. An iPod and $75 were taken. A can of vanilla coke zero was also taken from the car.

Theft

A 71-year-old woman reported someone stole her clear plastic change purse and its contents while she shopped in the 1200 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said.
