Police Blotter: Burglarized Bozo, Weapons Possession, Window Smashed

Naperville Police Department reports, July 10

 

Tuesday, July 10

Suspended/revoked license

Marlan Eugene Pleasant, 40, of the 1700 block of College Green in Elgin, was arrested at 5:22 a.m. near West 87th Street and Route 59, Naperville Police Department said. He was charged with speeding and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.

Possession of a controlled substance

  • Devante Ricky Murphy, 19, of the 8900 block of South Union Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 12:43 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Naper Boulevard, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of a controlled substance and transported to DuPage County Jail.
  • Timothy Earl Grandberry, 18, of the 100 block of Fairfield Drive in Romeoville, was arrested at 12:43 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Naper Boulevard, police said. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Manufacturing ecstasy/analog

Ahmed Shemale Willingham, 19, of the 200 block of Stamford Lane in Romeoville, was arrested at 12:43 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Naper Boulevard, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams and manufacturing more than 15 grams less than 100 grams of ecstasy/analog. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Unlawful possession of weapons 

Justin Patrick McCoy, 20, of the 200 block of Wolverine Drive in Oswego, was arrested at 3:42 p.m. in the 100 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. After a call of suspicious activity where several subjects were seen passing an item between each other, McCoy was seen purposely walking away from the group when police arrived, police said. He was wanted on a warrant and found in possession of a switchblade knife. He was charged with unlawful possession of weapons and a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was $5,000.

Lost iPhone

Someone lost their iPhone 4 while watching fireworks on July 3 near Plainfield/Naperville Road and West Street, police said.

Window smashed

A passenger-side front window of a rental car was broken in the 1200 block of South Naper Boulevard, police said. 

No laughing matter

One of two clown statues were stolen out of a backyard between July 9 and 10 in the 500 block of De LaSalle Avenue, police said.

License plate stolen

An Illinois motorcycle license plate was stolen in the 3600 block of Eliot Lane, police said.
