Police: BlackFinn Brawl Leads to 4 Arrests
Four men were arrested after a fight broke out at a popular downtown Naperville bar this weekend.

Four men were arrested and one remains at large after a brawl broke out between them around 1:28 a.m. at BlackFinn American Saloon Oct. 27. One of the men had to be subdued with a Tazer, according to the Naperville Police Department.
Officers were in the area of the bar Saturday when they "observed several subjects fighting," according to a police press release. Police said the men began fighting inside BlackFinn before spilling into the street.
Naperville police, along with assistance from the DuPage County Sheriff's Deparment, intervened and arrested the four men outside of the bar.
Nicholas A. Panno, 26, of Wheaton; Michael S. McLaughlin, 27, of Glen Ellyn and Eric J. Sola, 26, of Schaumburg were arrested by the Naperville Police Department.
A fourth man, Jose I. Martinez, 21, of Montgomery, was arrested by the DuPage County Sheriff's Department after allegedly battering one of their officers, police said.
Panno was charged with interfering with police and McLaughlin was charged with two counts of battery, resisting arrest and attempting to disarm an officer, police said.
According to the Naperville Sun, McLaughlin was Tazed by police after allegedly trying to grab the Tazer from an officer.
Sola faces battery and obstruction of justice charges while Martinez was also charged with battery and resisting arrest, according to police.
Court dates for all four men are pending.

It seems that Blackfinn is the only bar in Naperville where this happens on a regular basis. Bars that have been around for many more years all over Naperville do not have this problem. Maybe it is time to look at Blackfinn more closely and figure out why this is happening before someone gets killed. Oh yeah, someone already did and it appears that nothing has changed.

The murder was at Frankie's Blue Room.A bouncer was stabbed at Blackfinn,and survived.Blackfinn went in front of the liquor commission and consequently was shut down for a 24 hr.period as a result of their many fights.I believe this was this past summer or summer 2011.

The big problem is from a lot of immature low life's that are from other communities ! If they can't act properly when drinking, stay out of Naperville. Plus close the bars at 12:00 during the week and 12:30 on weekends. That's long enough to drink.

Too many liquor licenses and open too late. No where else in the west suburbs will you find this many bars in such close proximity open so late.
