Peterson Son 'Extremely Disappointed' In Verdict

Thomas Peterson took to Facebook to express his displeasure over his father being found guilty of murdering his mother.

Three hours after his father was convicted of killing his mother, Thomas Peterson wrote on his Facebook page that he was "extremely disappointed."

"During the past 5 years...I got to see full grown adults act like children, and now they are parading around my front door," Peterson wrote about 6 p.m. Thursday. Just before 3 p.m., the much-publicized murder trial of his father, Drew Peterson, ended with a guilty verdict.

Thomas Peterson testified at the trial. He was the last defense witness called to the stand.

Thomas Peterson testified that he never suspected his father killed his mother, that Drew Peterson was "very, very shaken" after his third wife—and Thomas Peterson's mother—Kathleen Savio turned up drowned in her dry bathtub in March 2004, and that he'd "never seen anyone so sad" as his father in the wake of his mother's death.

Thomas Peterson sounded pretty sad himself in the wake of his father's murder conviction.

"Who do I have left?" Thomas Peterson wrote on his Facebook page.

According to his post, Thomas Peterson has returned to the Philadelphia area. He attends college at the University of Pennsylvania.

Thomas Peterson's Facebook post went on to say:

"Who do my siblings have left? Oh yeah...the pastor, the lawyer, my aunts, and all of my mom's friends who LISTENED to my mother's pleas and DIDN'T do anything about it. Now she is dead, and you went forth to break the Constitution to blame my dad. I'm sorry, but that doesn't seem very believable to me...but since the rest of the world thinks otherwise, this is your fault, you should have come forward earlier. Now, I have a broken family without a salary, and some woman who sees it important to bully me over the internet because of my Dad. I hope you are all happy."

When he's not at college, Thomas Peterson, his younger brother and two younger half-siblings live with his older half-brother Stephen Peterson.

Stephen Peterson moved into his father's house after he and his wife Teresa divorced. According to sources, he has taken care of his younger half-siblings for the three years and four months their father has been in the Will County jail.

Stephen Peterson is the son of Drew Peterson and Carol Hamilton, his first wife.

Stephen Peterson lost his job when he was fired from the Oak Brook Police Department in February 2011. Stephen Peterson had let Drew Peterson stash some guns at his North Aurora home before the Illinois State Police got around to searching his father's house in Bolingbrook.

Even though he's in jail—and now prison bound—Drew Peterson pulls in a pension of about $6,000 a month.

I can sympathize with this son's feelings, having "been there" in a similar way earlier in my life. And yes, some of those people who "listened" but did nothing, should have done more. It's complex though, and there are more twists and turns to family situations than anyone realizes. Hopefully everyone will learn from the experience and better themselves.

Does he then believe his father killed his mom or her pastor, friends and family did, or what? I can sympathize with Thomas, and realize he's young, but his statement seems to blame everyone but the real killer, his FATHER, DP. Blaming others is DP's M.O., which is apparently something this kid picked up from his father. This boy is in denial and should seek help from a professional soon, as well the other children should. Staying away from DP forever probably wouldn't be a bad idea either. These kids should move on and forget all about DP for their own future sanity.

My heart truly does go out to all the children :( They have been left without a Mom or Dad now and yes no real income. They have to understand that their Aunts and so on could only do so much to help their Mom's. They did not want to make life harder for the Mom's by getting too involved, knowing that Drew and his uniform could cause them trouble. HE had the police force supporting him, so where could these people go for help. I know first hand what it is like to be manipulated by someone and totally believe everything that was told to me. Drew was/is a good actor and sucked people in. No doubt he has portrayed himself to be a brilliant Dad but no GOOD father would kill there children's Mom!
The children need alot of time to digest everything that has happened and one day they might come to a different conclusion of what truly happened and what their dad did.
They need to allow the other relatives a chance to have a relationship with them and show them the love and support they need. They were stopped from having any involvement because Drew did not want them telling his children the truth. Again, my heart truly goes out to these children and I hope they will allow the family to become part of their lives and give them the love and support they so dearly need.

He will lose his pension because the murder was committed while he was still a police officer. It will be taken from him, police officer's (like the rest of us) are not allowed to murder someone, it is automatically taken from him.

The pension has to go somewhere for the next 20-30 years?

Well the only person to blame is Drew Peterson he has to pay for what he did too these woman everything points at Drew and of course he had some sort of foul play. I know good and well Stacy did not run off with another man hard to believe she hasn't been seen by anybody since she disappeared. I believe common sense is the word to use Stacy just runs off with another man end of story of course not. It also makes me think why Drew Peterson's son hid guns for his dad and did not cooperate with police. I mean right there that sounds suspicious and this is why he got fired otherwise he would still have his job. It's sad that a man would murder his kids mother all because he did not want her to have a penny of his pension how greedy. Well I am glad Kathleen Savio finally got justice now Stacy Peterson needs justice. How can people just think about themselves? Two ladies are dead and Drew killed them. Do you really think this man should go free after killing two innocent woman all because he believed he was a powerful man that made sure his ladies did as he wanted. Well I guess it shows this man Drew didn't get what he wanted so he used his intelligence as a cop and used all the training he was taught as a police officer to murder his ex wife and his wife STACY Peterson. Do you really believe STACY would just disappear? This is not believable and probably one day her body will turn up and of course only one man is responsible A former cop named Drew Peterson.
