It's not known at this time if anyone was injured in the crash, but about a half dozen seniors from Martin Avenue Apartments were aboard the bus when it hit the northwest corner of the church's parish offices around 1 p.m. Tuesday, Ss. Peter and Paul Father Thomas Milota said.
"I believe two people were taken into an ambulance, but I'm not certain of their condition at the moment," he said.
The driver of the bus may have accidentally hit the accelerator rather than the brake, according to early reports.
Naperville Police Department blocked off a portion of North Ellsworth Street between East Franklin Avenue and East Benton Avenue for fire crews and emergency vehicles, which were on the scene for more than an hour.
Father Milota said the seniors had just arrived to Ss. Peter and Paul for an early Valentine's Day party before the crash.
Estimated damage is not known at this time.
Patch will have more information as it becomes available.

Was one of them driving? If so, then there's your problem.

I walk down that sidewalk every day to get to North Centrals campus. Walked right by this scene this afternoon.

The tragedy in this is now the Martin Avenue Seniors have no bus to take them to the grocery store and many of them rely on that.
