Adopt Me! Cowboy, Chico, Cosmo, Milo

Need a pal to run with or to help you de-stress, consider adopting one of these pets looking for a home.

Cowboy

Cowboy is a 7-year-old male domestic shorthair.  He was found as a stray cat roaming around Naperville, and is glad to have a safe and cozy place to wait for a family.  When animal control found him, he was filthy and flea bitten, but after a little TLC he’s really turned into quite the heart throb.  Cowboy is FIV positive, so will need a home as stress free as possible.  He enjoys taking long naps, keeping your seat saved and getting lots of attention. This sweet kitty has had a rough start to life; can you be the one to teach him life can be pretty great when you have a loving home?

Chico

People aren’t the only ones struggling in this economy, more and more pets are ending up in the shelter because their families can’t afford to care for them.  Chico, a 5-year-old male Terrier/Chihuahua mix, is one of those pets.  Although he’s a great dog who gets along with other animals and kids, his family just couldn’t care for him anymore.  Now he’s at Naperville Area Humane Society waiting to find a new family that will love him, play with him and give him lots of snuggles!

More dogs and cats are available at the Naperville Area Humane Society. All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped. They are spayed or neutered at adoption. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Visit at 1620 W. Diehl Rd. in Naperville or online at www.napervilleareahumanesociety.org.
