Naperville Gymnast Captures First Place at State Gymnastics Meet, Second Place at Regionals
Naperville resident and Still Middle School 6th grader, Samantha Ito, competed at the USAG Level 8 State Championship Meet in Bourbonnais March 23rd – 25th, 2012. Samantha clinched the 1st place title on Uneven Bars and earned 2nd place on All Around and Balance Beam.
Samantha went on to compete at the Regional Championship in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 27th – 29th, 2012 where she competed against gymnasts from Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Michigan. At regionals, Samantha placed 2nd on Balance Beam and 3rd All Around.
Samantha is a proud member of Phenom Gymnastics, for whom she competed at both Championship Meets.
