Chesterbrook Academy Students Donate 150 Toys to Edward Hospital

On June 7, students from Chesterbrook Academy in Naperville presented Edward Hospital with over 150 toy donations for their children’s ward. The donation was the result of a month long fundraising project the students organized. This spring, students at Chesterbrook Academy went grocery shopping for baking supplies, baked treats from scratch and held a bake sale at their school in May. With the $248 raised from the bake sale, students took a trip to a local toy store to purchase items for children at Edward Hospital. On June 7, they got to see the fruits of their labor when Nina Sittler of Edward Hospital came to pick up the donations and personally thank the students for their hard work.
